Do you love and want to protect the Downs around Epsom and Banstead?
The Downlands Countryside Management Project lets you actively help to do this. Established in 1988 it strives to enhance the urban fringe countryside for people and wildlife. It covers the greenbelt countryside in north-east surrey and some parts of south London.
The aims of the Project encompass the whole range of countryside management activities relating to access, landscape, biodiversity, sustainability, information and community involvement.
They also offer a wide range of events including guided walks – and give you the chance to help with volunteer tasks,
Visit The Downlands Project for more information.
We love the great local businesses and community
