TELEVISION PRESENTER TO OPEN ART EXHIBITION AT

THE CHILDREN’S TRUST

The Spring Exhibition of Arts, in aid of The Children’s Trust and organised by The Friends of The Children’s Trust, will be taking place at Tadworth Court, Tadworth from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th April 2013.  Television presenter Laura Hamilton will be opening the Exhibition, now in its 27th year, on Friday 12th April at 7 pm.

The three-day exhibition, sponsored by National Counties Building Society, will be open from 6pm to 9pm on Friday 12th, from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 13th and from 11am to 3pm on Sunday 14th April.    Admission is FREE.

Over 250 works of art will be available for sale, including paintings by Phil Tufnell, who is Vice-President of The Children’s Trust.   This year’s artist-in-residence will be Scott Carruthers, whose paintings are largely inspired by a mix of nostalgia from his childhood, as well as observing his own young children.

For further information about the Exhibition, please contact the organiser, Richard Palmer on 01737 363335 or email: richardmpalmer@ntlworld.com
