The Ashley Centre is ready and really looking forward to welcoming shoppers back as more retailers re-open from next Monday 12 April.

Centre Manager David Beddows said: “Everyone’s safety is our highest priority as this lockdown begins to ease. We are continuing to operate in a Covid-secure way including a one-way system throughout the Centre. Sanitation stations are available at all entrances and exits for people to use. We would like to encourage people to shop alone whenever they can and remember to wear a face covering and keep at least two metres distance from others and use contactless payment methods if possible.

“Housekeeping are regularly cleaning lift buttons and other communal places and touch points. The benches have been removed and replaced with single seats positioned well away from each other and signage is in place to show people the direction for queuing outside specific stores.

“If the Centre becomes too busy we will ask visitors to wait before entering until people have left to ensure safe distancing can be adhered to. Technology is in place to monitor visitor numbers to ensure there are never too many people in the Centre and to keep everyone safe.”

The Ashley Centre remained open for essential shopping throughout all three lockdowns, with stores including Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Superdrug, Boots, Grape Tree, Vision Express, Halifax, Master Cobblit, W.H.Smith and Holland & Barrett continuing to trade.

The policies and opening times of individual stores may vary – so please check by visiting the website and going to the individual store profile page https://www.theashleycentre.co.uk/sh…/a-z-alphabetical-list/
