Crowds flocked to the ever popular Supercar Event at Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh at the weekend (2nd and 3rd July). Over 16,000 visitors attended the two-day charity event, which is expected to raise £100,000 for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. Lending their support, TV presenters Andrea McLean and Laura Hamilton attended the event, along with comedian Tom Lucy, TV reality star Mark Dixon and Paralympian Danny Nobbs. Craig Phillips and Olympian Gail Emms hosted the event, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.  Families enjoyed a wide range of activities and Radio Jackie provided the musical entertainment throughout the weekend.

Dalton Leong, Chief Executive,The Children’s Trust said: “It was a fantastic weekend and we were delighted with the turnout.  I would like to thank everyone who made the event such a success.  The supercar drivers were amazing - providing their cars, petrol and driving skills to ensure that every supercar ride was memorable.  I would also like to thank The Supercar Event committee, the track marshals, our staff and many volunteers, who gave their time to help achieve another successful year.  This is our 10th anniversary of The Supercar Event and we hope it will continue to go from strength to strength.”
