Television presenter Laura Hamilton, her husband Alex and young son Rocco, joined families at The Children’s Trust’s Easter Fair held at Tadworth Court, Tadworth (Saturday 4th April).   Over 2,000 visitors flocked to the annual event to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, which included the popular Easter egg hunt, go-karts, fairground rides and attractions, farmyard corner, and Tom’s Talking Reptiles.   Youngsters lined-up to meet Peppa Pig and mascots, whilst crowds flocked into the historic mansion and Easter Market marquee to purchase merchandise and raffle tickets to win a variety of prizes, which included a cricket bat signed by Phil Tufnell.

Hannah Vince, Community Fundraising Co-ordinator at The Children’s Trust, and organiser of the event said:
”We had a fantastic turnout and we were delighted that Laura Hamilton and her family came along to enjoy the Fair. I would like to thank everyone involved who made the afternoon such a success – from our stall holders, our loyal band of volunteers, to the families who turned out to show their support.  Finally, my grateful thanks, too, to companies and community groups who kindly donated the hundreds of Easter Eggs.”

It is expected that the Easter Fair will raise in the region of £10,000 for the children’s charity. The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury.  To find out more about the charity and its many fundraising events, visit: www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk
