We were contacted by the Station Commander East (Response) Epsom & Banstead Fire Stations who told us about this excellent and FREE service BUT he told us

“One of the biggest barriers we face with this service, is that it is unknown by many, or is greeted with scepticism by members of the community, who we quite rightly tell to be wary of scams”.

We've checked all the links and they look good

This is a completely free service and is designed at providing safer living environments for people in the community that need extra care and support. Currently, we work very closely with Local Authority Teams, Surrey County Council Community departments, Adult Social Care and associated community scheme providers, in providing person centred risk assessment, fire safety advice and accompanying fire safety resources (smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire retardant bedding / throws etc). Any resource provided by us will be fitted and is completely free of charge.

Think how much less damage may have been caused if the doors had been closed.
