“Epsom Medical Equipment Fund will be surprising the Consultant Gynaecologist at Epsom General Hospital with a brand new £27,000 ultrasound machine on Tuesday 19 May at 3.30pm.
The gynaecologist thinks they will be explaining to some local schoolchildren (who sang in The Ashley Centre) what an ultrasound machine does in helping in the diagnosis, assessment and treatment of unborn babies, new born babies and young children plus gynaecology problems and how desperately they need a new one.
Unbeknown to them The Ashley Centre management team will then wheel in a brand new machine and present it to the hospital. This new machine has been purchased by Epsom Medical Equipment Fund in conjunction with The Ashley Centre with money raised from carol singing.
