Nine 1st Ewell Village (St Mary's) Brownies were lucky enough to receive tickets for the Youth enclosure to watch The Queen's Birthday Trooping the Colour 2012 on Saturday 16 June.
Brown Owl Jill Popham said: "We were thrilled to get tickets for this historic event and the icing on the cake was being led down The Mall afterwards to see the Royal Family come out onto the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the fly past. I am sure the Brownies will remember this day for ever, I know I will!"
10 year old Brownie Emily Zoeller said: "It was phenomenal! I really loved seeing the Queen and Royal Family so close up on the balcony. The guards looked very smart and we were so excited when we saw the Queen and Prince Philip going past in the glass carriage, we waved our flags madly!"
