In 2013 £27,407.29 was raised in The Ashley Centre for a large number of local charities.
The Butterfly Appeal (The Ashley Centre’s chosen charity for 2013), Sunnybank Trust, Epsom Medical Equipment Fund, Princess Alice Hospice, Epsom British Heart Foundation and Epsom Rotary were among the beneficiaries of local shoppers generosity. Recently The Poppy Appeal raised £6,711 in one week in the Centre to the delight of local volunteers.
Epsom Medical Equipment Fund Co-ordinator Bess Harding MBE said: “We really appreciate being offered the opportunity to go into The Ashley Centre to promote our charity and raise funds. It is also a great way of showing members of the public who generously donated what the money raised has been used for and how Epsom General Hospital is benefitting.”
