Four young pupils have led their school to the semi-finals of a high-tech quiz.
Lincoln Kamalbaskaran, 7, Ivan Newsome, 8, Michael Hutton, 9, and Ibrahim Dinah, 10, represented Shawley Community Primary School, in Epsom Downs, in the area heat of the National Junior Inter-School Quiz Championship on Tuesday 27 March..
The championship, involving more than 1,200 primary schools across the country, is presented by a professional quizmaster, with players using a personal wireless handset to make their answers to 40 multiple choice questions.
The pupils will compete against 11 other teams for a place at the National Finals, which will be held in Oxford in July.
