Dandelion Theatre Arts Founder Jennai Cox said: “We have chosen to stage an ambitious musical production of this Shakespearean classic at the Epsom Playhouse starring students from all our different classes and we need someone to design and make a head for Bottom! Most people will be familiar with the story when Bottom the Weaver’s head is transformed to that of an “ass” by the mischevious fairy Puck. We are holding a competition with fantastic prizes going to the person or group who can create Bottom’s head! You can make it however you like using whatever you like so imagination is the key. The only thing to remember is that the person wearing it must be able to see and be heard.”

The competition is open to anyone (either individuals or groups) and prizes will include £100 to spend on arts and crafts materials at Pullingers in Epsom, a family ticket to Hobbledown and tickets to see the production starring the winner’s Bottom head at the Epsom Playhouse in July.

Anyone interested needs to register their entry by 30/4/16 by emailing: kerry-anne@dandeliontheatrearts.co.uk or registering online at www.dandeliontheatrearts.co.uk

Judging will take place at Hobbledown in June.
