Runners Kick Start their New Year Marathon Training for The Children’s Trust – and they need more runners

21 Virgin London Marathon runners kick-started their New Year Marathon training with a 10-mile run from The Children's Trust, Tadworth, on Sunday 13th January. 

The Children's Trust currently has 120 runners in the team, but have a few late places available. Own-place runners can also join up until the day and there's no set sponsorship.   Being part of a team has lots of benefits, including organised training days, fitness preparation and advice on nutrition, as well as lots of encouragement from supporters at the charity's cheering points on marathon day.  The next training date at Tadworth Court will take place on Sunday 24th March.  To find out more, visit:

The Children's Trust, Tadworth is a national charity providing care, education and therapy for children with multiple disabilities and complex health needs, and rehabilitation services to children with an acquired brain injury.  The Trust runs the UK’s largest residential rehabilitation centre for paediatric acquired brain injury and has an on-site special school, The School for Profound Education, which publishes The Profound Education Curriculum for children and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
