From 30/7/14 Passport to Summer will include craft workshops each Wednesday during the holidays where children can make cress heads, recipe books, foodie mobiles and pot a plant.
There will be healthy fun activities and with Core Wellness in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation every Thursday as well as free family eye tests and information from Seeability about checking healthy eyes on Fridays.
Visitors to the craft workshops will be given a personal passport and can collect points for prizes and giveaways from The Ashley Centre retailers.
Emma Smith, Seeability’s Head of Fundraising said: “SeeAbility is delighted to be taking part in Passport to Summer. We are relatively unknown charity, supporting people living with sight loss and multiple disabilities in Epsom, Ashtead and Leatherhead, as well as other locations across the South East and South West of the UK. This event will help raise awareness of our specialist support that enables people to live enriched lives in their local communities. We are very grateful to The Ashley Centre for enabling us to use this event to help promote our work and encourage local people to help support us”.
