Did you know there are an estimated 700 people living within or around the Epsom & Ewell borough with learning difficulties?

Some may live with their families, but most live in community homes within the area. Their disability means that they need support in their lives.

Due to learning disabilities many people find it difficult to communicate and this can ostracise them from joining in the many normal activities we take for granted.

The Sunnybank Trust know this – and it is their aim to provide those vital elements to these ‘isolated’ people and greatly enhance their quality of life.

The Sunnybank Trust gives their clients – Opportunity – Friendship – A Voice.

Through their Friendship & Advocacy Programmes– Community Church – Kites Social Club, and other special projects they provide those important elements.

But to do this they need your help.

They have a small team of staff and rely on over 130 volunteers to provide this vital service. And yes, they are a Charity so they need your help to continue their work.

In the words of their founder – local man Tom Rhind-Tutt MBE:

“Do one thing for the Sunnybank Trust before Christmas”

 You Could:

Make a donation

Buy some of their great Christmas Cards

Have a fundraising event – maybe a coffee morning – or something more adventurous!!

Maybe you could consider giving some of your time as a volunteer
