New Singing Group in Leatherhead at the Mary Francis Trust
The Mary Francis Trust in Leatherhead are setting up a new singing group.
We are setting up an informal weekly singing group that will start on Monday 9th June 2014 1.30 – 3pm at 23 The Crescent, Leatherhead KT22 8DY.
In the first session on 9th June we will be joined by members of a local community choir, All Aloud, and so we want as many people as possible to attend to help make this very special group a success on this day and for the future.
The feel-good effects of singing have long been recognised, and there is growing evidence that it can have a positive impact on a range of physical and psychological conditions, so whether you have a voice of an angel or you sound like a cat in a washing machine, we want you to come and make yourself heard!
This group is open to people with or without mental health issues, and is being funded by Mole Valley District Council.
