New Mayor Supports Seeability's Fundraising
Epsom charity Seeability were delighted by shopper’s generosity last Friday when they collected donations in The Ashley Centre for the Greater London Fund for the Blind, which supports and encourages the blind and visually impaired. The charity was aided by new Mayor of Epsom & Ewell Councillor Robert Foote who joined the collectors in the Centre.
David Scott-Ralphs, Seeability Chief Executive Officer said: “We really appreciated the opportunity to fundraise in The Ashley Centre. It was wonderful to see so many people give generously to support our work.”
Miriam Oppenheim, Trusts and Communities Manager for Seeability said: “I firmly believe that local people can achieve amazing things together. Having the chance to connect with our community is so valuable to our mission to build brighter futures for people with sight loss and multiple disabilities.”
