The Mayor’s charities for 2014/2015 are:

Cystic Fibrosis Trust

CF is a life-shortening inherited disease, affecting almost 10,000 people in the UK, clogging vital organs with thick sticky mucus. There is presently no cure. It is the UK’s only national charity working for families with CF and to find a cure.

Epsom & Ewell Citizens Advice Bureau

The Bureau provides free, confidential, impartial and independent advice to people in the Epsom and Ewell area. Over 3,000 new clients every year are helped to resolve what can seem insuperable problems involving, for example, money, housing, family, employment or consumer matters.

Epsom & Ewell Foodbank

The Foodbank provides emergency food for people in a crisis from four distribution centres. It started in October 2012 and has already fed 3,000 people. It is part of the Trussell Trust network of over 400 foodbanks across the country.
