New charity shop in #Tadworth is seeking volunteers @childrens_trust #volunteer

Tara Bennett, store manager, said: "We are delighted to be opening a new store just down the road from The Children's Trust brain injury rehabilitation centre. We are looking for volunteers from all walks of life, of all ages and with different levels of time to give to help with the day to day running of the store."

"We will provide volunteers with training on all aspects of retail. It's great experience for your CV. For many people, volunteering can get them out of the house and meeting new people. It's a great boost to be helping the charity."

Every year over 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of an accident or illness. The Children's Trust offers the largest residential brain injury rehabilitation unit in the country. Its offers nursing and medical care for children with severe disabilities and complex health needs. It also has an extensive research programme and provides online support for families all over the UK. 

Anyone interested in volunteering can call into The Children's Trust reception desk to collect an application form at to local shops: 101 High Street Banstead, Tattenham Corner and Nork Way.
