To launch Epsom Derby Festival Week, The Ashley Centre hosted fashion events for racegoers in the run up to the Epsom Derby. Professional models and dancers showcased the must wear dresses and outfits for the races, and members of the Sunnybank Trust made their modelling debuts.
Centre Manager David Beddows said: “We are delighted to be supporting The Sunnybank Trust as our charity of the year and it was wonderful to be able to include them in our iconic fashion shows. All the outfits modeled were from our retailers and there was a diverse range  of outfits shown for all ages and budgets.”

Dorothy Watson from the Sunnybank Trust said: “Being part of The Ashley Centre Fashion Show was a very special experience for the Sunnybank team. We were very proud of our models who looked fabulous and showed people what diversity really means. Thank you to everyone at The Ashley Centre for making the day so special.”
Beauty consultants from House of Fraser professionally made up the models who wore outfits from The Ashley Centre retailers. Maria Mamo, from the Elizabeth Arden counter in House of Fraser said: “Doing the make up for the Sunnybank models was very rewarding. They clearly loved the experience and their enthusiasm was infectious!“

Highly acclaimed tapas restaurant El Patio in Epsom Square delighted visitors by offering mouth-watering tasters of parma ham, olives and tapas. Ricardo Vasconcelos, manager of El Patio said: “It was great to be part of The Epsom Derby Festival Week and we have welcomed new customers to the restaurant as a result of this promotion in The Ashley Centre so we are delighted.”
