🤷‍♂️ The last week or so’s ever changing measures from the government has thrown a lot of business owners into uncertainty as to how they can still serve and support customers during this challenging time.

😃 The good news is there is a solution as to how you can still engage and interact with your customers in a personal way.

🎥 We’re talking about the use of video. 🎥

It’s is going to be more powerful than ever before – if utilised properly.

If you feel like you can’t deliver a full “normal” service or experience to your customers, just communicating with them will go a long way when people are feeling like they can’t go about their normal day-to-day lives or visit their usual favourite places.

Take these examples:

⭐ Several gyms and health clubs across the UK are now running “Virtual classes” to their members. They have offered a reduced fee (which is better than a cancellation) and they run the classes as normal but just through a live video! You can even do it with your kids and partners in the comfort of your own home, which will be great to break up the day if everyone’s starting to get a bit bored!

⭐ Business consultants, accountants, mortgage advisors and similar fields are offering 1-2-1 video calls via Skype, Zoom, Facetime etc so the normal monthly sessions are still being held, just in a different format as people still need the help and support from these industries.

⭐ Even some doctors’ surgeries and other medical practices like physios, osteopaths and chiropractors are delivering “self-treatment exercises” over video to keep people in a decent enough state of health and well-being until the practices open again for more in-depth treatment.

💭 Yes, it takes a mind-shift into how you deliver some form of service to people. But take inspiration have a think about what you could do to keep engaged with the outside world during this time – because utilising video could be the thing that keeps your customers close, make them feel loved by you and can really help you keep your overheads paid until normal service resumes in, what we all hope to be, the not too distant future.
