SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS FOR NEW LOOK CAFE ROUGE EPSOM

Café Rouge Epsom unveiled a beautifully redesigned bistro on 12th August celebrating perfume and beauty in honour of the famous Epsom Bath Salts.

The Grade II listed building that is home to Cafe Rouge dates back to the 17th Century. Guests will now be welcomed through the entrance by ornate coaching lanterns and two dramatic Yew Trees. Inside, a-one-of-a-kind perfume mural features on the wall alongside an impressive illuminated vintage perfume bottle display.

A family friendly area has been created to the rear of the restaurant, while outside the rejuvenated 90 cover exterior terrace allows for Parisian pavement style dining.

As well as the new look, the 224 cover bistro is pleased to present a brand new menu, featuring the most authentic and classic dishes yet. Executive Chef Duncan McEwan has explored 25 years of Café Rouge menus and French cuisine – from their debut offering in 1989 right through to current French food trends. The selection even includes a rather special appearance from one of France’s most famous culinary exports – the snail - with Ragout D’Escargots a new, must-try dish! Just in time for the summer holidays parents can treat their petit enfants to a new brand new Children's menu featuring treats such as Le Burger and Sautéed Poulet Ooh La La.

The sensational new-look restaurant serves breakfast (perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict, Warm Baked Chouquettes and Truffled Mushrooms on Toast to name a few) through lunches (including Menu Rapide – perfect for business meets) to dinner and after work drinks.

To complement their new menu, Café Rouge has also partnered with
Bibendum, who are dedicated to supplying the finest French wines from across the world.

Together they have introduced an outstanding wine list featuring a selection of great quality and value wines, including De Castellane Champagne, Alsace Pinot Gris from Jean Biecher and Crozes Hermitage from Paul Jaboulet.

Café Rouge’s signature brand of relaxed, authentic French dining coupled with down-to- earth, friendly service make Epsom's local bistro the perfect place for business

breakfasts, impromptu lunches, special occasion dinners and everything in between.

On the relaunch Restaurant Manager Kasia Lipska said, “I am so happy the theme in the restaurant is perfume, as an avid collector of perfume there really is no better topic for me! Myself and all the team here are really excited as we have such a loyal group of regulars at Epsom that it feels like the reopening will be a home coming for most of them."
