Look Good Feel Better are going MOBILE and Epsom is their 1st STOP.
Their mobile information service will be travelling around the country over the summer.
The charity support women and teenagers who are struggling with the side-effects of cancer. This new mobile initiative will help them raise their profile and thus help more women.
The mobile unit will be outside M&S – and is open to anyone. So please drop by and have a look at the wonderful work they do.
Look Good Feel Better is the only worldwide cancer support charity, providing practical support for women struggling with the side effects from cancer treatment.
Finding out you have cancer can be daunting and life-changing and the added stress of the appearance related side effects of treatment can be demoralising and very hard to cope with. This can have serious consequences on self-esteem and confidence at a time when a positive attitude is very important.
Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to improving the self-esteem, confidence and wellbeing of people undergoing treatment for any sort of cancer. It is our aim to improve their self-image and appearance through free group and self-help skincare and make-up workshops that create a sense of support, confidence, and wellbeing.
