Surrey Independent Living Council (SILC) is a voluntary organisation led and run by disabled people.
They believe that every disabled adult, child, older person and carer should be able to have the same amount of opportunities and make the most of the support available in Surrey.
Their specialised, approachable team offer a range of services which enable disabled people in Surrey to live independently. Some of these services are; practical advice on independent living, support employing assistants and confidence training.
Career Support Payment schemes are also available which help with financial management and budgeting. They also offer peer support groups and increased engagement within the community.
