Local Community Spotlight

St John Ambulance Epsom

Every year, more than 800,000 people learn how to save a life through St John Ambulance training programmes, including hundreds of thousands of young people.

Their volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. They are also always campaigning to raise awareness of first aid and directly educate the public.

Event services

When accidents or illness occur at events, the skills of their personnel can prevent further harm and help save lives. The volunteers provide the first line of emergency response.

First aid and safety training courses

With thousands of training courses across the country, including a full suite of first aid, risk assessment, fire marshal, and moving and handling courses, they enable hundreds of thousands of people to be the difference in their workplace – and outside of work – to protect their colleagues, family, friends, and members of the community.
