Women and girls cricket is becoming more and more popular and Banstead CC are very proud to be hosting this day, which is being kindly sponsored by local solicitors Cuff & Gough LLP in Banstead.
Surrey Women’s Trust League Final, preceded by both semi-finals in the morning.
Featuring: Reigate Priory CC – Epsom CC – Ashford CC – Streatham & Marlborough CC
Girls Open Day
From 2:00pm girls cricket teams from local clubs and schools aged 8-12 years.
Local schools and clubs are being asked to provide girls teams between the ages of 8-12 for coaching session, some fun and a "round robin" competition – who will be the first “Mad Lillies Champion”?.
Refreshments available all day – Fresh cakes & drinks, BBQ – Burgers & Sausages – from JCT Sports Café.
Tombola / Raffle – Cricket Games – Sweet Stall – Cricket Equipment and lots more.
All proceeds from the raffle will be split between establishing a Girls Cricket section at Banstead CC and their chosen charity – MERU (from disabilities to possibilities).
ARE you a local school or club – then why not enter a team?
Vicki Howard at Sports Fun N Fitness is working hard with Banstead CC to promote womens and girls cricket across the area. See the attached letter and form if you wish to enter a team in the event.
ARE you a local business – then why not take a stall?.
Expecting 52 lady cricketers + families, 10 local girls teams of 10 players each + families – and spectators. A fair crowd is hoped for the event. If you are interested in showing casing you companies products – see the attached details.
