The Ashley Centre was overwhelmed by the generosity of shoppers this Christmas, with local charities benefiting enormously from fundraising events held in the centre.

During December, The Sunnybank Trust, an Epsom based charity working with adults and young people with learning difficulties, provided a gift wrapping service in The Ashley Centre and raised £3,333.43. Many shoppers took advantage of their expert wrapping and labeling skills and the charity professionally covered hundreds of presents in exchange for a cash donation.

Epsom Medical Equipment Fund raised a magnificent £2,721.46 from local schools and choirs carol singing during December. The Rotary carol singing raised £366.82 and heaps of presents were donated for the children in Epsom Hospital over Christmas. The Ashley Centre also collected bags and bags of food from donations for the homeless and the carol singing day in aid of the Mayor of Epsom & Ewell’s charities raised £550.
