Schools and Youth Groups Scarecrow Competition 2016

As part of Herald of Spring 2016 we are inviting local primary schools and youth groups to be inspired and create a scarecrow on the theme of people from history.

 

Scarecrow criteria:

  • Entries must follow the theme of  people from history.
  • Props may be used with the scarecrow.
  • Scarecrows must include some plant material which can be living, fresh or dried.
  • They should be no taller than 1.8m tall and must be able to withstand all weather conditions.
  • The use of recycled materials is encouraged.

 

scarecrows must be brought to Bourne Hall on either Thursday 10th or  Friday 11th March.

 

Prizes:

The scarecrows will be judged by The Mayor of Epsom & Ewell on Saturday 12 March 2016.

 

1st place £100 vouchers of choice

2nd place £50 vouchers of choice
