On Saturday 12 September Let’s Twist Again returns to the Epsom Playhouse bringing the best of Fifties and Sixties music to the stage. Now it it’s fourth successive year and wowing audiences everywhere it plays, this is a brand new production for 2015.

In 1974 the world was to witness a new musical phenomenon the like of which had not been seen since the days of Elvis and The Beatles. The music of the Bay City Rollers became the soundtrack for a generation of teenagers growing up in the mid-seventies. The face and voice of that soundtrack belonged to Les McKeown who will be appearing on stage on Sunday 13 September. The Bay City Rollers is a celebration of those hectic days of hit songs, touring, TV shows and the behind the scenes pandemonium that followed the band everywhere they went. Hits such as 'Bye Bye Baby, 'Shang A Lang', 'Summer Love Sensation' and 'Give A Little Love'. A night of fun and nostalgia taking the audience back to those innocent days of growing up to the sounds of The Bay City Rollers.

As featured in the BBC TV documentary "The Joy of the Guitar Riff", Purple Zeppelin are proud to pay tribute to Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin on Saturday 18 September. This exciting show features more than 30 hit songs as Purple Zeppelin goes back to the magic, excitement and sheer raw energy generated by those incredible musicians. The accent is firmly on entertainment with Ritchie Blackmore's Lute, Jimmy Page's twin neck Guitar and Theremin, and a very special Violin Bow Solo!

The Rat Pack Vegas Spectacular Show on Wednesday 23 September sees the “Purveyors of Cool" swing into town with the greatest music of the 20th Century. Wonderful memories of classic Las Vegas stars including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. Every song is a winner - Come Fly With Me, Volare, That's Amore, Under My Skin, Mr Bojangles, Sway, Mack The Knife, and many more of your favourites.

Brand new for 2015 - The Story Of Guitar Heroes on Saturday 26 September is a mind blowing live concert style 'rockumentary', paying homage to some of the greatest guitar heroes of all time.  Using some of the country's most talented musicians alongside the very latest in video screen technology, Phil Walker takes you on a journey through the decades from when the first legends of the Rock 'n' Roll era began in the 1950s, through to the most creative and inspirational modern guitar heroes of today. With over 20 guitars used on stage, Phil and his band accurately recreate the sound and ambiance of heroes such as Eddie Cochran, Hank Marvin, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Brian May, Slash, Joe Satriani and many more.

From the producers of a Viennese Strauss Gala and Magical Mozart, Baroque by Candlelight on Monday 28 September is a stunning fully costumed show of the wonderful music and the classical baroque world of some of the greatest romantic composers - Vivaldi, Handel and Bach. With beautiful settings, costumes and lighting and of course candles, the European Baroque Ensemble and Singers will perform a  packed programme of classical music, which includes excerpts from Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Handel's Water Music and Bach's wonderful Toccata and Fugue in D minor. Also, excerpts from these classical maestros' operas sung by world class soloists, who alongside the European ensemble, promises a candlelit Baroque to remember!

The Epsom Playhouse will be celebrating the queen and king of country, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers on  Wednesday 30 September with the show Islands In The Stream.  Stacked with country music’s greatest hits: Jolene, Ruby, 9 to 5, Lucille, Here You Come Again, The Gambler, Coward of the County, Love is Like a Butterfly and Lady – enjoy the awesome vocals and gentle humour of Dolly and Kenny’s legendary live shows. Bring-the-house-down performances, a superb score and supreme musicianship tell the story of the simple Smoky Mountains farm girl’s rise to country music’s biggest superstar.
