The countdown to Christmas has started with various events and activities taking place across the Borough to kick start the festive season.

Starting with Epsom's official lights switch-on event at The Market Place on Thursday 24 November from 4pm - 8.30pm, the event will feature an evening of family festive fun and the traditional lights switch-on.

This year’s lights will be switched on by some of the children who attend The Children’s Trust School along with Santa and the Mayor of Epsom & Ewell, Councillor George Crawford QPM.

The Mayor of Epsom & Ewell, Councillor George Crawford said, "The lights switch-on event is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to get together and celebrate the countdown to the big day.
