The Ashley Centre

FREE FUN SATURDAYS

The Ashley Centre in Epsom is gearing up for Christmas already with a selection of entertainment planned for Saturdays in December.

On Saturday 1 December the search starts for SURREY'S VERY BEST MiNCE PIE! Visitors will be given mince pie recipe cards and then anyone and everyone can bring their mince pie entries to be judged the following Saturday 8 December with one lucky local cook crowned the county’s Top Mince Pie Chef. The winning recipe will become The Ashley Centre’s official mince pie recipe from that day onwards and will take their place in the centre’s history. This Festive Foodie event will include demonstrations, tastings and a hands-on cookery demonstration with children attending being asked to be involved and get their hands dirty!

On Saturday 8 December the HUSKIES are coming to add to the festivities! For this one day only some very special four legged friends will be coming in to meet visitors to the Centre. There will be opportunities to have photos taken with them and even hug a husky! Siberian huskies are well known of their affectionate nature and love of human interaction. Come and make the most of this rare opportunity to get up close to Father Christmas’ favourite pooches.

On Saturday 15 December singer DAVID HARROP brings The Big Christmas to Epsom, a unique, interactive musical Christmas entertainment for all the family. David will be entertaining visitors to The Ashley Centre with favourite Christmas songs, stories, carols, comedy and drama to really get everyone in the festive mood. There is an opportunity for everyone to take part and join in the fun if they wish or just to enjoy as they shop.

FATHER CHRISTMAS will be in the Centre on these festive Saturdays meeting his young fans and he will be joined by the mischievous elves Pitch and Patch. Santa’s post box will be available throughout December where children can send their Christmas messages and wish lists.

And to make shopping even easier this festive season The Ashley Centre will be OPEN UNTIL 8pm in the run up to Christmas from Monday 17 to Saturday 22 December and open all day on Christmas Eve until 5pm. Shoppers can also take advantage of free car parking in The Ashley Centre Car Park in the five Sundays before Christmas starting on Sunday 25 November.

And don’t forget!!
