Epsom Rotary Club broadcast the Epsom and Ewell Showcase for local talent @EpsomRotary

The 1^st May was the day Epsom Rotary Club gave residents and anyone else lucky enough to log on to YouTube the enjoyment of watching the best of Epsom and Ewell talent. Whilst it was all there free to watch there was a serious intent behind the show, which was to raise funds for local good causes and online donations to the Epsom Rotary Club were very welcome indeed.

Although the acts were pre-recorded, the programme actually went out live on You Tube between 6.00pm to 10.00pm and featured in all 28 acts and advertisers who contributed to 40 items spread over the evening. The first hour featured a very talented line up of local children followed by their elders who proved to be no less talented.

The evening gave both local professional and amateur entertainers alike the opportunity to display their talents. Viewing figures for the live broadcast and catch up were very encouraging and it was not surprising that many messages of support were received praising the event and the talent on show.

Clive Richardson, President of Epsom Rotary Club said how much he enjoyed the evening and thanked all the contributors and viewers for making it such a great event and for helping charities and not for profit organisations in and around Epsom and Ewell.
