Children can enjoy some great live theatre at the Epsom Playhouse this Easter.

On Wednesday 27 March at 2.30pm Peaceful Lion Productions present Bringing Down the Moon a production based on the much-loved book by Jonathan Emmett. Mole burrowing out of the ground sees the moon for the very first time and thinks it is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen and wants to play with it. Mole sets out to pull the moon down but soon finds out that some things are not as easy as they seem, or as close as they look! A heart-warming tale of aspiration, friendship, adventure and a little bit of mischief accompanied by catchy songs, this is the perfect treat for everyone aged three and up.

Tiddler and Other Terrific Tales on Tuesday 2 April at 2.30pm is brought to Epsom by the award-winning Scamp Theatre and adapted from the bestselling books by Children’s Laureate, Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler (creators of The Gruffalo). Under the sea, out on the farm and into the jungle, these terrific tales are woven together with live music, puppetry and a whole host of colourful characters from their best-loved titles including Tiddler, Monkey Puzzle, The Smartest Giant in Town and A Squash and a Squeeze.  Funky moves, toe tapping tunes and giggles are guaranteed! The perfect treat for children over three years old and their families and friends!

On Friday 5 April at 2.30pm Join Sid from CBeebies live on stage in a fantastic fun-filled adventure that'll knock your socks off! Perfect for families with children aged 3-7,
Sid is the hugely popular original star of the CBeebies channel. He is setting out on a heroic quest to find out where in the world his favourite socks and shoes have got to. Come share in the adventure at the bottom of the sea, deep in the jungle or floating in outer space and meet some funny characters and discover plenty of surprises along the way. In an interactive show crammed with games, songs, poems and magic, Sid's Show will leave audiences with a smile on their face and a spring in their step.
