When you do your shopping this week please keep in mind the Foodbank – helping people in times of crisis
The Foodbank provides local people with necessities, not luxuries. It allows people to collect the basic necessities they need to live.
Many thanks to all of you who are not only donating food but are donating the items we need most. It is much appreciated.
As previously mentioned we do have a very good stock of many of the basic items so if possible please donate only the items on the following list -
We have either no or very little stock of the following items -
Sugar - small bags if possible - very low stock
Long life fruit juice
Long life sponge puddings - we have run out
Children’s treats - chocolate etc - we have run out
Instant mash - we have run out
Powdered milk - we have run out
Custard
Coffee
Hot chocolate
Tea bags - not catering packs
Cereal
The majority of supermarkets still have collection bins which we empty on a regular basis. Alternatively food can be dropped off at our warehouse in Ruxley,Lane Ewell. We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm for dropping donations , except Thursday when last time for donations is 2pm. Please note that we do not open on Bank Holidays.
