Epsom & Ewell Foodbank Friday Foods – A #Christmas thank you message from @EpsomFoodbank
16th December 2016
... Comments

Epsom and Ewell foodbank thank you for all their kind donations.

This week the foodbank would like to thank everyone for the kind donations they have received though out 2016:

We have had a very busy few weeks with many, many donations. The Tesco collection produced two tons of food, we have had many 'reverse advent calendar' donations and the supermarket bins have been overflowing. We have been astounded at people’s generosity. Just to update you the collection bins will not be emptied for the next few weeks, if your collection bin is full then the office will be open next week but the office will be closed Christmas week with normal hours resuming on the 4th January 2017.

Please know that your continued donations and support have made a huge difference to local people in crisis. There is still a need and this week we provided food to feed 33 people at just one centre. We still have seven sessions before Christmas Day so the food you have donated will go towards helping someone have a happier Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you all!!!

Many thanks for your continued support
