Cuff & Gough are looking for a Conveyancing Department Office Junior for our busy and successful firm of solicitors in Banstead Surrey – great opportunity for a school leaver!

1. Answer Telephone/Reception Cover
2. Reception Duties, meeting and greeting clients for meetings. Taking hand delivered documents for delivery to fee earner
3. Open Post and Distribute under Partner Supervision.
4. Make up and Frank Mail for collection at 4pm
5. Photocopying
6. General typing from dictation in LOLA Case Management System
7. General office duties, making tea, keeping stationery cupboard tidy and stocked
8. Being a Witness to client Will Signings
9. Assist in the smooth running of the office generally
10. Printing off searches from email, saving in LOLA and ensuring the PSG invoice is paid using the LOLA Format letter for payment
11. General filing as requested
12. Assisting with opening and archiving files and ensuring files are kept in a tidy manner
13. Taking Credit Card/Debit Card payments over the phone
14. Verifying clients ID through online ID system and reporting failures to Partners
15. Other duties relevant to job as requested by Partners
Person Specification
1. Educated to A level Standard or equivalent
2. Interested in a career in legal environment
3. Enthusiastic and positive attitude
4. IT literate, Word, Excel and willing to learn LOLA Case
Management System
5. Helpful and client focussed
6. Punctual
7. Good attention to detail and accurate typing skills
8. Calm under pressure
9. Able to work as part of a Team and willing to help other team members if required.
