Central Surrey Health has been named as the preferred choice to provide community health services across mid Surrey.
NHS Surrey announced that it would be the preferred bidder for a five-year contract to run services in Epsom and Ewell, Mole Valley, and Banstead.
Central Surrey Health currently provides services in this area, but the current contract is coming to an end.
Dr Jonathan Richards, chairman of Surrey Downs clinical commissioning group, which has jointly led the procurement process with NHS Surrey, said: "Central Surrey Health already have a proven track record of delivering community services to a high standard and today’s announcement means that, once the period of due diligence is completed, we can focus on working with them to deliver further improvements for local people."
