I forgot to check the post box over the weekend and I missed a gem!
A local girl was having a cupcake sale at her home.
She had produced a delightful poster – a picture of a cupcake – the address – the time – the price.. But what was special was why she was having the sale.
“This cake sale is for me --- to help raise money for me to be able to get a dog!
My aim is £1000 because my parents don’t really want a dog so they said this is how much I need to save”.
What wonderful initiative – I do hope she gets her dog!!
