Rainbow Leisure Centre & Spa operated by Better, the customer facing brand of charitable social enterprise GLL, and in partnership with Epsom & Ewell Borough Council are extremely excited to announce the launch of a brand new play park at the facility.

Aimed at children aged 0-10 years, the space will offer a dedicated baby area, 4-lane slide, indoor mini sports court and two-storey play frame including 180˚ tube slide and ball pool.

With little ones in mind, we have worked closely with the team at Soft Brick to design and install a permanent structure providing enhanced opportunities to play, learn and grow. Specific features are included to improve gross motor skills, trigger imagination and role-play, solve puzzles and stimulate the senses for a well-rounded play experience.

“We are delighted to be opening our exciting new play park for children living locally aged 0-10 years as part of our commitment to encourage children to be active whilst still having fun. As a social enterprise, we have funded this new venture through investing back into the facility to benefit the wider community. We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers to the Rainbow Leisure Centre & Spa to enjoy this stimulating new play facility.” Said Darren Pope, General Manager.

Opening in November, the facility will be operating 7-days-a-week with the option to pre-book or simply turn up and check in on the day and the sessions will be 2 hours in duration. Alongside the play park facility, Chapters will be offering hot and cold drinks and snacks and there will be the opportunity to book parties in the new themed party spaces at the back of the play park.

Speaking of the development, Councillor Barry Nash, Chair of Epsom & Ewell Borough Council's Community and Wellbeing Committee said, "The Rainbow Leisure Centre & Spa is an award winning facility managed on our behalf by Better and caters for all members of our community.

"We support the introduction of this new children’s indoor play park, which addresses a short-fall in provision for young children within the borough and encourages physical activity, whilst having fun.”
