The Royal Navy of Nelson’s time was efficient and powerful, with an enviable fighting record -- flogging and violent death were not the everyday events you might imagine from popular fiction or films. Meet a naval Lieutenant of Nelson’s Navy along with his wife to get a flavour of those exciting times and discover what life was really like for the men on deck. The Lieutenant will be bringing some of the equipment he used on a man-of-war along with his sword and pistol. .
Cost of £4 per child per session
The club meets the second Saturday of the month at Bourne Hall, Spring Street, Ewell KT17 1UF. Sessions last from 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm and there is a charge of £4 per child per meeting.
