A number of different organisations in Banstead and Banstead Community Junior School have got together to enter Banstead Village In Bloom.

We are working together to make Banstead a more beautiful place to live and improve the High Street.  Some of the benefits you will see are new planters, filled with an array of pink, purple and white flowers. The roundabout by Zizzis will be replanted, the borders by the Community Hall have been planted with a variety of perennials, the corner of Winkworth Road and Bolters Lane has been cleared of brambles and planted with native plants.  There is so much to see and get involved in.

The judging will take place on Monday 26th June supported by the Mayor, Cllr. Roger Newstead and the Mayoress Mrs Mary Newstead(MBE)

If you would like to follow our progress or get involved in Banstead Village in Bloom (BVIB), you can find out more on our website www.bvib.co.uk or email us at Bansteadvillageinbloom@yahoo.com, we would love to hear from you.
