SWEET WINNER ANNOUNCED

Eleven year old MOLLY CHARTRES is the winner of Hatty’s Sweet Shop competition to design a brand new Epsom sweet!

The judging panel made up of Harriette Coleman, owner of Hatty’s Sweet Shop, The Ashley Centre General Manager David Beddows and What’s On In Epsom website founder Paul Taylor had an extremely difficult job.

The Ashley Centre General Manager David Beddows said“Congratulations to Molly and thank you to the 243 people who submitted some wonderful and exciting designs. Molly’s design was chosen because it included the official Epsom colours of yellow and green and the iconic Epsom image of a jockey hat. Lucy and Ella’s runner up entries were picked because they featured Epsom related themes using the clock tower and horses in their designs.”

Molly will receive one year’s worth of sweets, which she can collect as 100g each week.  Lucy and Ella have each won a month’s worth of sweets which they can collect as 100g each week.

Molly’s design is now with the sweet manufacturers and will go into production shortly.
