Dan was able to get us into the property we eventually secured 2 hours after it went on the market and helped us to close the sale within 24hrs! Would recommend 100% without hesitation for both selling and buying!! When we first started the process to sell our flat in Sutton, we initially looked at local estate agents in our area. We appointed an agent that was very close to us and seemed really reputable. Unfortunately, little did we know, it wasn’t the person who had valued our house that would be showing prospective buyers around. Something I got to realise whilst searching for properties was the value that can be added from having a good agent showing you around the property and answering your questions. Having been searching for houses for some months, I got to know many of the companies and agents operating in various areas in SW London. Many of the properties we ended up viewing were through the Personal Agent. I really valued the way that they got to know me and what I was looking for in a property. I ended up completely trusting them in terms of my property search and was fully prepared to listen if they told me that there was a property coming on they thought we would like- without even having to look at the photos, they were normally completely spot on. Meanwhile, I was having other agents trying to take me round to random houses that I had no interest in and completely wasting my time- as well as sending me properties in completely the wrong areas, so I ended up getting really frustrated and not answering calls from anyone other than Personal Agent! We weren’t having much luck with our sale, so based on the great service I had received from Personal Agent, we decided to instruct them for our sale. Within 2 weeks, we had more views from Personal Agent on our flat than we had had from the other agent in 4 months. The video and photos they took of our flat were amazing and all completely free, which was brilliant as many companies do charge for this. What I also like about Personal Agent is that anyone can help in the local office and they all know who you are. The team at Personal Agent all work in unison together and are all fully aware of your situation, which is really valuable during the house buying process, which is obviously very stressful. They are additionally open until 7pm, which is brilliant as I finish work at 6, so I can always grab them after work as well. We ended up selling our property with Personal Agent after just 2 weeks and plenty of viewings- we had 3 offers under asking and then 1 just above, which we gladly accepted. It seemed to me that Personal Agent were showing people round who were genuinely interested, rather than people who had just vaguely enquired having seen them online. It really helps that they know their customers, which they clearly do as they got to know me through the process, too. Unfortunately, our buyer pulled out about 3 weeks after purchase, however, Personal Agent kept us fully informed throughout the process, so that there were no nasty surprises. We went back on the market with them and the same day, we had sold again! I was so impressed by the fast turn-around and we didn’t even have to have any more viewings as the buyer was someone who had seen the flat before and just gone under offer herself- also with Personal Agent! To make things even better, Personal Agent have now helped me to find our dream house- after much perseverance as we have been extremely fussy! They even negotiated hard to get us an excellent price, even though the seller was pretty firm on wanting a certain amount. They offer great advice and I truly feel that they provide such an honest and helpful all-round service. I actually said to my husband that this is the best service I’ve ever received from anything!! Thank you to all the team in the Stoneleigh branch- Dan, Paul, Andrew and John. They have all been so helpful on our journey of buying and selling and I can’t thank them enough for making this very stressful process as easy and as pleasant as possible.
