Great small Spanish family owned restaurant. This is where you come for authentic Spanish Tapas. Have now eaten there a few times and the food and service has always been exceptional. This is one I recommend to all my family and friends.

We recently ate at El Rincon for the first time and wished we had found it sooner. What a em of a restaurant. The owner was on hand to assist with wine choices and to recommend dishes and was happy to chat a little. All the staff were attentive without being overbearing. Initially we were not happy with our table location as the lighting was too bright, so after a short wait we were moved to somewhere more ambient. The food was delicious - we ate tapas - calamari, potata brava, filled peppers and various other delightful treats - our favourite was the marinated chicken 'pollo chilindron'. While we had a 7.45 booking, we were not rushed and the owner reassured us that tables are not flipped and we were welcome to stay for as long as we wished. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and a restaurant we will most definitely return to again.

Recently has a large family meal. We pre-ordered which meant the food came quick and no one was left waiting. Really good service. The food is ok and nothing special.

'Friday Fish Club' have voted El Rincon our 'Top Restaurant' for 2016. Friday Fish Club are a group of friends that meet at least once a month, on a Friday, in different restaurants around the Epsom area. In addition to having fun our main aim is to find restaurants that offer good service, ambiance, offer value for money but most importantly serve high quality fish dishes. El Rincon, in our opinion after trying lots of restaurants in the area, was the best scoring against these attributes in 2016. The three things that made El Rincon stand out were, number one, the quality of the fish dishes, whether the prawn with garlic and chili tapas, the amazing mussels in white wine sauce through to some absolutely delicious skate that was lovely and moist, just falling off the bone, which we had on our last visit. Naturally Joe the chef, is clearly the main reason why the quality is so good but as was explained the regular sourcing of fresh high quality fish plays an important part to. The second reason we chose El Rincon to win our award was the quality of the service. Carlos particularly has a knack of making everyone who visits feel special , offering excellent advice about their signature dishes whilst also ensuring dishes such as the whitebait were prepared in a way to keep our gluten free member of the club happy. Then value for money was the third reason El Rincon won our award. In many restaurants, certainly in central London the cost would typically be double for what El Rincon charge and the quality of food and wine no where near El Rincon's standard. If you are after a great evening out with friends or family, want what we consider to be the best quality fish dishes in the area, together with exceptional value for money and attentive service in a warm, welcoming, family run restaurant that cares about its customers, then El Rincon we think is the perfect place to go..

Yes ...... we've returned, although not as much as we'd like to.
Fantastic food, clean and tasteful surroundings, a small friendly team and Carlos always has a smile while incorporating time to speak with the customers.Paella is to die for, but remember to pre-order when you book. The liver Tapas dish is absolutely delicious, but in general there's nothing on the menu we won't order.
Desserts look fab, but we've only managed to squeeze it on one occasion. Will be back soon, providing they can accommodate us considering the Christmas party season is fast approaching.

This little family run restaurant is really nice. The owner himself welcomes u n talks to u, makes u feel comfortable, which in most places its all about getting the customers in, paying the bill n out. Here its a nice feel, as if u r part of the family. The food was amazing n i must say of good quality n the price reasonable. I will definitely be back n i recommend this place.

I have been to this family run restaurant a few times, with my last visit in August for a birthday meal, The staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is chilled out. The food is fantastic and all freshly cooked, with the most amazing desert trolley. give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Again a delicious meal was enjoyed by us all. Whatever you choose, obvious care has been taken in the preparation. Just a shame they don't have a menu of the day with a few £12 mains. So I cannot afford to go there as often as I would like, but like I said above, worth saving up for!

Living local we are very lucky to have the rincon near by . A spanish themed restaurant with a varied menu including wonderful tapas and beautiful steak and other meat and fish dishes , this place has been a regular of ours for a long time . Apart from its relaxed decor and atmosphere its number one plus is the incredibly friendly owners and staff , they are second to none. Highly recommended and make sure you try the desert trolly !!

My husband stumbled across this Tapas restaurant a few days ago and said we should go and try it out sometime.
As he has been brought up on Spanish food, he is very familiar with Spanish cuisine and very particular about how it should look and taste. We were greeted by Carlos and as they had only just opened for even g service, we managed to have a table by the open doorway as it was a hot evening.
The food was amazing and we cleared the 6 tapas dishes with ease. It was eventually finished off with oranges in Grand Marnier and a touch of cream. The food is excellent quality and very reasonable, service was great and we didn't feel rushed, so it was a nice relaxed evening.
Will definitely frequent this restaurant in future.

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a family member and it did not disappoint! The food was superb and we did not mind waiting the hour it took to cook the paella as it was nice to know it was being cooked fresh and was 100% worth it when we ate it. The staff were attentive and friendly and we throughly enjoyed our evening. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

Fantastic place.
Lovely staff.
Amazing food.
My folks and my kids eat here a fair bit. Having both full meals and sometimes tapas.
This is only my second visit and I plan to go a lot more.
If I could I would eat here every day.
My wife and I had seafood paella and it was stunning... and IMHO at £35 for two good value given how much good quality prawns etc there were in it. Perfectly cooked and a serving just the right size... my wife and I are big eaters and my three year old had a tiny bit and my 17 year old had a small bowl full on top of his lamb... but it was all we could do to eat it all. Perfect.
Finished with one of my favourites... so simple and light but so spot on... oranges in their own juice with whatever alcohol they add and cream.
I want to go again with my wife one evening and just have the paella again.
I am a big fan of Spanish food or rather Spanish cooking as I believe so much of what makes Spanish meal good is how they prepare and cook what they have. You could give a Greek, a French person, an English person or a Spaniard the same ingredients and the Spaniard would be the one so often to produce something simple, but perfect and light and just awesome and you would struggle to explain why it is so nice... it just is!
Anyway I'm rambling.
Go there...
