It's a great venue with an amazing atmosphere. This beautiful old theatre (oldest in town) was threatened with closure until a four brilliant guys took on its management (whilst holding down full time jobs). They have recruited very willing volunteers to usher, who are always friendly and helpful and willing to join in with any audience participation, leading to a great evening of fun. The fact that these people have managed to keep this lovely theatre open has meant that some great entertainment has come to Eastbourne. Patrons and performers alike have been extremely complimentary on trip advisor, facebook and twitter, and rightly so!

Always a warm welcome from the staff at the Afton hotel where service is 1st class and professional with just the right dash of friendliness in the mix. Whether popping in for a quick coffee or attending a business meeting I am never disappointed.

We were called on by David after one of our fabulous customers had mentioned to him that we may be interested in joining The Best of Eastbourne. David immediately made us feel welcome and a part of the team. He is always brimming full of brilliant ideas and advice to help us promote our business and pass work our way. We do feel part of a local community pulling together to help each other flourish in business! David is always on hand, night or day, to answer any queries or aid us in any advertising issues we may encounter. We have no hesitation in recommending David and the Best of Eastbourne to local companies.

We recently attended a meeting held at the Afton Hotel. We immediately felt welcome and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and we were impressed by the beautiful fresh flowers displayed which gave off a magnificent scent. I look forward to our next meeting at this venue.
