Our favourite place to eat. You can choose from set menus or a la carte. Food beautifully cooked and presented. Service excellent. Also great to get bread and olives on table on arrival. Great place for 2 or family and friends gathering.

Italian restaurants, they're a bit two a penny, serving okay food with a friendly Mediterranean smile.... So I find myself at Laocanda Del Duca in Eastbourne, this place, is not your run of the mill Italian eatery, it is a cut above the rest, truly genuine in all respects, with all due respect, simple in decor, but clean and fresh, a genuinely fond welcome at arrival and immediate attentiveness, it was a pleasure to be served by Evalina, who was friendly and witty .The food was stunning, the scallop starter was expertly cooked and beautifully presented, the fillet steak main course was excellent, cooked exactly to my very rare blue requirements and so tender that the knife cut through it like it was soft butter. I simply cannot recommend this place enough, a shining star in a mediocre world of UK Italian restaurants, a must visit... Thank you
