Stopped in for a late lunch and we're pleased we did. The staff were friendly, decent beer and amazingly a whole section of the menu was vegetarian. My partner had the quiche which she said was the best ever, other than what she makes herself. I tasted it and was in agreement. Nice and cheesy unlike shop bought quiches which are too eggy.
Later that evening, we dropped in for a nightcap after enjoying a late night stroll on the promenade - open until 01:00, very handy. Again the staff were pleasant. When we come back to Eastbourne we'll definitely come back here.

An excellent pub, Greene King should use this as their flagship pub. The staff are brilliant all genuinely happy and smiling
It makes a nice change to go to a bar where there are plenty of staff . The pub was heaving but no one had to wait to get served. Also the food was excellent. Would recommend this pub to anyone visiting Eastbourne
