Make sure you enter the estate via the main gate and show your ticket otherwise you will be chased by the staff. Even though you just got lost cycling. I was there when it had some work done.

Always a lovely place to visit at any time of year. Lovely more formal gardens with herbaceous borders and roses, with further longer walks in the fields and woods, with a fun rope maze to walk through. Good cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Well worth a visit.

Tour provided as the castle is being renovated and I can honestly say I've not been on a tour where the guide was so knowledgeable and engaging. The cafe has a great selection of drinks and home made cakes

I came here with my family not long after giving birth. Such a stunning place for a walk and a snippet to eat. Food was delicious!! Scenery absolutely stunning and the gift shop was lovely I even walked away with a stunning bluebell woods piece which is now on my wall looking amazing ! Highly recommend a visit

The café is quaint, offering a cosy spot to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. The blend of wild and manicured spaces, along with the charming café, makes for a truly enchanting experience. I highly recommend a visit to see the stunning changes for yourself.
