We wondered why, when we called, we were told there was only one table available on a Sunday night........no need to......it was wonderful. The service and food were out of this world.
I can not suggest it enough.....if you are anywhere near, enjoy first class food and wonderful service.

Greene King run has the usual Ales and a very nice Sussex ale, try the beef rib crisps, swift service reasonable prices, and it is the Only real Public House along the whole Seafront, outside seating, good clean well run pub.

Just had a lovely meal with my wife, we both had the turkey roast which was excellent. The service was great and our two dogs were well looked after with a supply of water and treats. I would happily make a return visit.

Our first night in Eastbourne we went to The Crown and Anchor in search of food! My husband was over the moon with the Steak and Ale pie and the chilli in my jacket potato was delicious. The Old Speckled Hen beer was a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

We came to this lovely pub to watch the football wonderful staff Kat was delightful. We had a meal one night excellent and used this pub as our Local while staying in Eastbourne.

We booked a table here and the staff were very friendly but sorry to say the food was awful my halloumi burger had been fried and was vey greasy and my partner had scampi which was watery and hard peas !!! Shame as the staff were lovely and the drinks were food value just let down by the food

Fabulous home cooked food, friendly staff, great location and clean facilities.
