Saw this pub as we were walking along the sea front just to the east of the pier. Gets busy, plenty of outside seating and very good selection of beers, wines, and varied food menus. This was our third time and not disappointed. Friendly staff, welcoming. Good value.

I can’t compliment the food enough. It’s was tasty, hot, lots of fresh veg, cheesy leeks and crispy roast potatoes. I had the pie, it was better than mine!! Hubby had the belly pork, delicious lots of crackling. We will be back. Secret garden table by garden lights, perfect in every way. Well done Chef👍

Nice friendly pub with outdoor area. Food was really good, can recommend the steak and ale pie which was full of tender succulent meat.

This is a really nice pub, had sharing nachos for lunch which were piping hot and tasty. Went back for drinks in the evening. Staff very friendly. Plenty of seating outside.

What am amazing atmosphere....
There covid 19 system was fantastic we had booked a table we was asked to sanitize your hands before you was seated we was shown to our table, it was table service even the drinks were brought to you!..The tables were cleaned straight away once the people had left...there was barriers between tables all middle tables had notices saying not in use...
Once the tables were cleaned there was a sign saying this has been cleaned....Now the menu was brought to the table it was also lamented so easy to clean afterwards...
The array of food was great from starters sharing starters mains burgers with different topping...The price rang was great....
We had the Fish and Chips Fantastic the piece of fish was a good size the chips were chips not them skinny chips....Thanks again...

Food was so good we went back for more 3 days later. 1st time had Ribs and Steak pie, really good portions and lovely tasting. 2nd time we had Ribs again and Lamb shank same as before, really good portions everything cooked perfectly. Servers were great both times. Covid safe.
