I visited with a friend today for the first time & was impressed with the staff. When we arrived there was a gentleman at the entrance. All outside tables were occupied & he took our details, asked us to sanitise our hands & then found us a table inside & made sure it was clean. My friend & I didn’t eat here so I cannot comment on the food, but just sitting & enjoying a drink was a nice relaxed experience. The interior is clean & smart. The outside has a lovely floral display which drew our attention to the pub as we were walking past across the road. We were well attended to. At least a couple of members of staff came over & asked if we would like further drinks as we finished so we were well attended to. Friendly attentive staff, nice atmosphere. My first visit & I shall return. Thank you.

A great pub, coping very well with the Covid distancing regulations. There’s a one way system in operation, with staff at the entrance door to take contact details and to enforce the use of hand sanitiser. The pool table has been removed to provide extra seating at a safe distance. The beer is good (Old Speckled Hen and Harvey’s Sussex Best were on when I visited).

Very nice views on the balcony outside. The food was really good (and im fussy) and the service we received from Lucas and Tiago was great too! All together had a lovely evening.

We love it here and come whenever we’re in Eastbourne. Their COVID precautions are great, one way system, track and trace, app for ordering if required, all staff in masks or visors and screens at the bar. Lovely food on both visits as always! The garlic mushrooms and halloumi sticks are amazing!! Thank you... see you soon!

Excellent food served by genuinely friendly and efficient staff, nice clear Coronavirus precautions with two-hour slots so that you don't feel rushed. At first we were a little disappointed to see the reduced menu but the burger was almost a steak, the salmon perfectly cooked and the whole meal was very tasty and satisfying. We had a gorgeous bottle of (red) wine with our food and left feeling very happy with our holiday dining experience. Thanks to all staff for such a lovely evening.

we went on a sunday but the roasts had run out, so we had the ribs , do try them ! Pubs on main road opposite the beach so sitting outsides a bit noisy

Excellent service and a very good vegan menu, specially the vegan burgers!
We sat outside with a dog, no problem at all.
Charlie, Kat, Kayleigh, Ether Monor and Lee were very helpful advising options to eat and drink.
Would 100% recommend it.

Ate there on three occasions and used the bar on two occasions over a three day period and everything as perfect as it can get. Friendly staff (even remembered our dogs name). The food was excellent and I recommend the Steak and Ale pie meal although the other meals i had over the 3 days were just as good.

Came to this pub as it was in the 50% off scheme .Excellent food and service although it was quite a long wait for dinner.However they did tell us .The 2 vegitarian dishes my daughter chose were not available but found something she could eat .Great portion size and all homemade we enjoyed our mesl
